The exterior hood grille serves as a ventilation cover for external ducts and can be installed using dowels and screws. It is compatible with standard round ventilation ducts and hoses according to DIN EN1506. Constructed from stainless steel, it offers excellent weather and corrosion resistance. This 150 mm ventilation grille is designed for exterior wall mounting on exhaust air systems. When the fan stops, the louver closes automatically to prevent cold air ingress and keep out dust, insects, and debris. The damper opens under low pressure due to its smooth operation, commonly referred to as a floating damper. Suitable for use with hoods, workshops, basements, tumble dryers, and similar applications. A slight rattling sound may occur during operation, which should be considered when installing near living areas. Ideal for both DIY users and professionals. Easy to install using common tools. Insert the vent damper into the duct or hose and secure it to the wall with the provided screws. Attach the grommet to the vent pipe to ensure a secure and stable fit.
