Suitable for melting metals such as silver, brass, aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, and other similar metals. thermal stability for fast heating and cooling; good corrosion resistance to acids and alkalis; strong thermal conductivity which shortens melting time and saves energy; impact resistance to help ensure reliable product quality. 99.95% graphite with ash content less than 0.1%; refining performance is better than silicon carbide crucibles. Graphite crucible cannot be heated by carbon furnaces or charcoal kilns, as it will oxidize and crack. Graphite starts to oxidize at 752 F (400 C). It can withstand up to 3200 F in an air furnace, and up to 5000 F in vacuum or gasprotected furnaces. Use scenarios: Jewelry and small metalworking applications: melting and casting silver, brass, aluminum, copper, zinc, and lead for components and art pieces. Scrap metal refining and alloy development: refining copper or silver scrap and preparing precise alloy compositions in small batches. Laboratory or hobby research: temperature melting under controlled atmospheres (vacuum or inert/gas protection) for alloy testing, material studies, and development.
