1. PREPARATION - Make the item has been stripped of grease, dirt and gunks and other stuff that may interfere with the adhesion of your design. Durability of any hydrographics coat depends upon complete and careful preparation of the surface before painting. The surface should be even and smooth. Any cracks, and holes or any other imperfections do not let the paint adhere correctly to the surface. Inadequate surface preparation results into majority of failures.2. PRIMER PAINT - Use the appropriate primer for your substrate. It may depend whether its a metal, plastic, fiberglass, ceramic or wood. your local paint shop for the best option with your market .3. PAINTING THE BASECOLOR - Paint your preferred basecolor. Most of the patterns are transparent so it a color of would greatly affect your overall output.4. ACTIVATION & DIPPING - Lay the film in the water. Make the 'sticky side' Remove creases/folds or bubbles underneath the print by blowing it lightly. Wait 60-80 seconds before activating it. Spray the activator as as much as possible and without too much disturbance on the water. Once properly activated, submerge your subject by getting into the water on an angle to avoid trapping bubbles.5. WASH - Wash your dipped item using a running water to the sticky residues left by the print and let it dry for a while.6. CLEARCOAT - Spray the clearcoat to protect your print and item once its dry.
