There are metal contacts on the battery (in gray) that have to face upwards for charging. Q3: How many times can I charge the batteries? The battery can be recharged 1000 COMPLETE charge/discharge cycles ( 0% - 100%, 100% - 0% ). Q4: Why are my controller batteries not charged up to 100%? First, please ensure the battery contacts are properly connected (see Q1 above). Second, this is an intentional design for the product. To prevent overcharge and increase both battery life and charging stability, the battery display may show that the batteries are not fully charged. Usually, the batteries will charge all the way to 100%, but the Quest may still display it at 90% or lower. Don’t worry, this is completely normal.
