Safely Lift Strings on Serrated top of the Lifter to hold strings in place 4. Practical tool for exchanging, adjusting and fitting bridges. 5. Designed to lift the tensioned strings off of the installed bridge, allowing work to be done without risk of dropping the soundpost. 6. Remove the mounted bridge without taking off the strings -- just slip the jack behind the bridge, lift the strings, and remove the bridge.
