495209 for Splinter Guard replacement band - SP 5000

Compatibility: The 495209 splinter guard replaces the 495207 and is compatible with 1/2" and 1/2" KP guide rail saws. Regularly replacing your splinter guard ensures perfectly clean cuts, especially when changing blades or using the same guide rail with multiple saws. Function: You can replace the splinter guard as needed for perfect guide rail alignment and to prevent tear-out during parallel and side cuts. The new splinter guard fits the saw blade perfectly, ensuring precise alignment and saving you valuable time during setup. The clear guard improves visibility. High Quality: The replacement splinter guard is made of high-quality, flexible rubber and uses a strong adhesive, providing high viscosity and transparency. It adheres perfectly to your guide rail and won't easily come loose. Easy to replace: Pre-cut for first use, the splinter guard perfectly conforms to the shape of the rail, allowing for precise application at the mark. Simply remove the protective film to use. It's very easy. NOTE: Clean the rail and ensure it is free of grease before installing the new splinter guard. NOTE: On a clean work surface, there is no risk of dust or debris on the adhesive tape. Remove the adhesive tape along with the splinter guard to prevent debris from sticking. Before installing the splinter guard, please use a spade to remove any adhesive residue. When reapplying the splinter guard, you can offset it slightly to facilitate a clean cut. Color: As pictured. Material: Plastic. Package Contents: 1 x Circular Saw Guide Rail.
