The housing and encoder knob are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy, with a hard-anodized finish for a longer-lasting color. Basic Usage:1. Push the power switch on the side to turn on the radio. 2. Press and hold the encoder briefly (300ms): Switches between search mode (magnifying glass icon in the upper left corner) and frequency mode (+/- icons in the upper left corner). In SSB mode, this turns on BFO adjustment. 3. Press and hold the encoder (700ms): Adjusts the volume. 4. Single-click the encoder: Switches between the band menu. 5. Double-click the encoder: Sets the menu. 6. Triple-click the encoder: Reads a stored station (auto-search is automatically turned off after reading a SSB station). 7. Quadruple-click the encoder: Calibrates the battery voltage. 8. Press and hold the encoder for more than 2 seconds: Soft-off/on. 9. Press and hold the encoder to power on: Clears all band settings and restores defaults. 10. Press and hold the encoder: Adjusts the volume. This function is prone to error and requires proficiency.
