Otherwise, the device may not respond accurately. If another person wishes to test immediately after you, wait at least 5 minutes. If the reading exceeds 0.05% BAC, the alarm will sound—do not drive. If the reading is below 0.05% BAC, it indicates a lower alcohol level. How to Use: 1. Open the battery cover and insert 3 AAA batteries according to polarity markings. 2. Press the “Start” button. A short beep will sound, the backlight will activate, and the screen will display a countdown from 100 to 000. The bottom of the screen shows “WAIT”, indicating the preheat phase. Do not blow during preheating, as it may affect accuracy. Once preheating completes, “WAIT” disappears, the device beeps, and “BLOW” appears on screen along with a moving “C” indicator—then begin the breath test. Note: Preheat time varies depending on ambient conditions and sensor readiness—not based on prior test concentration. 3. Take a deep breath and blow steadily and continuously into the mouthpiece when “C” appears and “BLOW” is displayed, until the device beeps. Then stop blowing. 4. After blowing, the screen displays “TEST” while analyzing the result. Do not blow again during this phase. Once analysis completes, the measured alcohol concentration appears on-screen and remains visible for several seconds before the device powers off automatically.
