Turn off the water supply. Clean water stains around the leakage point and use sandpaper to smooth the surface. 2. Install the mold head: Select the 4-point mold head and secure it to the hot melt heating plate (screws included). 3. Heating and welding: • Heat the hot melt tool to 260 °C. Insert the adhesive rod into the concave mold and position the convex mold over the leak hole. • Once the adhesive rod melts, quickly inject the molten adhesive into the hole. Allow it to cool, then trim any excess material. • Pressure test: After repair, conduct a water pressure test to verify no leakage occurs. Precautions: • Safety protection: Wear gloves during operation. The adhesive becomes highly fluid when melted—work promptly. • Avoid using standard adhesives (e.g., AB glue) for PPR pipe repairs, as they may detach. For leaks larger than 5 mm in diameter, replacement of the pipe section is recommended instead of repair.
