WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE OF FRAGRANCE? 3 - L'IMPÉRATRICE by Dolce & Gabbana is a women’s Eau de Toilette that falls within the Floral Aquatic scent category. Launched in 2009, it is part of the D&G Anthology range, which draws inspiration from the iconic Tarot de Marseille. Specifically, the third card, The Empress, embodies themes of power and femininity, resulting in a fragrance that is both elegant and full of character. The top notes feature a lively blend of pink pepper, kiwi, and rhubarb. The heart reveals floral accords of jasmine and cyclamen, complemented by the refreshing essence of watermelon. Closing the composition are base notes of musk and sandalwood, enhanced by a hint of lemon tree. TAROT DE MARSEILLE. This set of cards serves as the muse for the entire fragrance line. For this particular scent, the third arcanum, The Empress, symbolizes growth, generosity, and beauty, as well as themes often associated with women such as fertility and motherhood.
