Description Low Distortion Audio Operational Amplifier with FET Input The OPA1656 is a Burr-Brown operational amplifier (op-amp) specifically designed for audio and industrial applications where maintaining signal fidelity is critical. The FET input architecture achieves a low voltage noise density of 2.9 nV/√Hz and a current noise density of 6 fA/√Hz, enabling very low noise in a wide variety of circuits. The OPA1656's high bandwidth and high open-loop gain design ensure low distortion of 0.000035% (-129 dB) at 20 kHz, improving the sonic fidelity of the audio signal across the entire audio bandwidth. This device It also features excellent output current control capabilities, offering a rail-to-rail output swing of up to 250 mV from power supplies with a 2 kΩ load and capable of delivering an output current of 100 mA.
