The Mitutoyo 500-196-30 digital caliper is equipped with an Absolute Sensor (AOS) for reliable and accurate measurements. It features a measuring range of 0 to 150 mm (0 to 6 inches) with a resolution of 0.01 mm (0.0005 inches). The clear LCD display allows for easy reading in both inch and metric units. The advanced AOS electromagnetic induction sensor is resistant to contaminants like dirt, oil, and water, ensuring consistent performance. This versatile tool can measure inside, outside, depth, and step dimensions and includes a convenient thumb roller for smooth operation. Constructed from durable stainless steel, it is built to last. The ABSOLUTE measuring system allows you to set a reference point once, and it retains this setting even when the caliper is powered off. The ZERO/ABS button easily resets the display or returns to absolute mode. The package includes one digital caliper, a user manual, two button batteries, and a protective plastic storage case.
