Clean the screw ring, rubber gasket, and funnel regularly. Residual coffee grounds may compromise the seal and affect performance. 4. Keep the coffee maker upright while screwing the two parts together to prevent water from entering the upper chamber prematurely. 5. Remove the coffee maker from heat as soon as coffee stops rising to the top chamber. 6. Periodically clean the upper chamber and central tube. Remove the rubber gasket and filter for thorough cleaning. Do not use soap or detergent. 7.
