USB 2.0 to RS485 Converter for reliable industrial communication, supporting transmission distances up to 1200 meters at 9600 bps. Features CP2102 (Silicon Labs) or CH340 chipset — industrial-grade, high-stability solution. Pinout includes A+, B–, GND, and +5V. Built-in 15 kV ESD protection, overvoltage protection, surge protection, and short-circuit protection for both signal lines and power supply. Automatic data direction control eliminates the need for handshaking signals (e.g., DTR) or jumper settings. Supports baud rates up to 921600 bps. Equipped with TXD and RXD indicator LEDs. Powered via USB 5V; optional external 5V input with current-limiting fuse. Operating temperature range: –40°C to +80°C. Compatible with Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10, Linux, and Windows CE. Fully supports USB hot-plug functionality. Hardware-level protocol agnostic — works with any RS485-based communication software and hardware.
