The base of the seat is made from aluminium. The aluminium base has been covered with white ABS panels which are much warmer to sit on that metal.The wall bracket is made from a study stainless steel which is held onto the wall with a stainless steel plate which has 6 fixing holes in it for wall plugs and screws.The flip up seat has drainage holes which ensure water will drain off the seat after it gets wet.
